Link Multiple Bill of Material (BOM) — The Force Multiplier

In simpliRP ERP, users can attach one or more Bills of Material (BOMs) to a single quotation item, customer sales order item, or supplier purchase order. This feature is especially useful for Make-to-Order (MTO) products, customized solutions, project-based work, deviations from standard configurations, prototypes, and for inclusion of critical spares or standard consumables.

This feature is available for quotations, sales orders and even supplier purchase orders — wherever a deviation from the standard product, or additional spares, consumables or critical spares need to be included. This brings clarity on scope of work and deliverables across quotations, customer sales orders and supplier purchase orders.

If needed, users can also add additional items such as consumables, packing materials, accessories, tools or any other supporting items along with their quantities. Further, the Sales Order Execution Advice can be provided to the production / assembly line, helping them in detailing the Bill of Material and additional deliverables.
